A man who stood under a doorway to take a phone call narrowly avoided being covered in snow when a huge pile slid off the building’s roof.
The incident took place in Zelenodolsk, in western Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan, and was filmed by a nearby CCTV camera.
In the footage the man, who is wearing a big winter coat, is seen standing under a roofed building entrance while talking on his phone.

After a few seconds a huge mass of snow covering the roof suddenly moves and begins to fall from the two-storey building.
The man seems to instinctively take a step back snow slides off the roof and crashes on the ground.

However the man doesn’t seem fazed by the snowfall and continues chatting on his phone like nothing has happened.
Ruslan Galiev, spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office, confirmed that they are investigating the matter.

According to local media the building owner, who is liable if someone is injured in such an incident, failed to clean the roof and a huge blanket accumulated there.
One person who saw the video online said: ‘The guy is so lucky that he is under the porch when that happened!’
Another person added: ‘Look at this bloke, he does not move a muscle when it is all over!’
