Man accused of murdering wife 'had been meeting up with men from gay dating app Grindr'

Mitesh Patel, 37, had been unfaithful to wife Jessica, 34, throughout their marriage before allegedly killing her at the marital home.

The people he cheated on her with included blokes he met for sexual intercourse on the internet, it was said.

The couple married after meeting at university and both worked as pharmacists at a chemist's shop they owned in Middlesbrough, Teesside.

Judge James Goss QC told potential jurors at Teesside crown court that they would be excused from sitting on the trial if they had used Grindr in the last seven years.
