Jeffrey Epstein ‘might have been murdered’ says his brother Mark, who reveals there were unexplained cuts on the pedophile’s body and says the DOJ refuses to turn over medical file
- Mark Epstein said that his brother may have been murdered but he still cannot determine if this is the case because he has not received his medical file
- Epstein’s autopsy showed that he had contusions on his left and right wrists, an abrasion on his arm and another marking on one of his shoulders
The brother of Jeffrey Epstein told Fox News that he believes the pedophile may have been murdered, but has no way on finding out.
Mark Epstein said that his brother had unexplained cuts on his body that could not be explained by a jail cell hanging, and that his attempts to obtain a medical file have been thwarted at every turn.
‘They’re playing games,’ Mark told Fox News.
‘I’ve done the appropriate requests with Justice twice, and have heard nothing. I was told someone is looking into it.’
He said that he first reached out to the New York City Medical Examiner’s office on August 16, and was told he needed to contact the Department of Justice.
It has been three months, and Mark has yet to receive the file on his brother.
‘I have no standing to sue. People should know the truth about what can happen in a federal facility,’ said Mark.
‘My brother might have been murdered. This is not about me.’
Heir apparent: Mark Epstein said that his brother may have been murdered but he still cannot determine if this is the case because he has not received his medical file
Epstein had contusions on his left and right wrists, an abrasion on his arm and another marking on one of his shoulders according to the autopsy report.
That is believed to be the result of deep muscle hemorrhaging according to the autopsy report.
‘Those are unexplained,’ said Mark.
‘Was he handcuffed and struggled? Was someone holding his wrists? The marks on his wrist are unexplained.’
Dr. Michael Biden, who was hired by Mark to oversee the autopsy, said that there could be an explanation for these injuries, but there is no way to know without the file.
‘Did the injuries happen a week before or at the time of the incident? We have to look at the microscopic slides to see when the injuries occurred,’ said Dr Baden.
‘The brother requested this information three months ago and he still has not gotten it.’
Epstein had been hospitalized in late July after making a previous attempt on his life according to the Bureau of Prisons, though some have claimed it was a fight with his cellmate that landed he pedophile in the hospital.
Baden described how the 66-year-old financier had two fractures on the left and right sides of his larynx, around the Adam’s apple

Dr Baden previously appeared on Fox News to discuss some of Epstein’s other injuries, specifically the two neck fractures – one on the right side of his larynx and another on the left side of his hyoid bone.
‘Those three fractures are extremely unusual in suicidal hangings and could occur much more commonly in homicidal strangulation,’ said Dr Baden.
They are common however in homicides he said at the time.
In response to these claims, some experts were quick to point out that the hyoid bone does in fact breaking in suicidal hangings.
New York City Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Barbara Sampson also fired back in the wke of Dr baden’as interview, saying she stands ‘firmly’ behind her findings.
