Homeless army vet forced to live in allotment shed during heatwave because council won't give him a home

Barrie Mills, 65, was kicked out of the house he lived in for 20 years in Bassingbourn, Cambs, after his stepdad died. Mr Mills, a former soldier, was not allowed to stay in the house because the tenancy couldn’t be transferred. He then moved into a shed at an allotment where he has been living for the last four weeks
