This is the adorable moment a German Shepherd excitedly howls to the closing credits of the crime drama Law and Order.
Footage, captured by dog owner and GP receptionist Geraldine Cuthell, 59, at her home in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, shows the three-year-old canine draw closer to the TV and join in with the drama’s well-known soundtrack.
The snowy white dog called Tess places her front paws on the television stand before tilting her head up and howling with the famous theme song of the Wolf Films production.

During the clip, Tess stares at the screen in anticipation, knowing full well what is about to begin.
As the credits roll onto the screen, the canine joins in with the melody before taking a brief pause and resuming once again.
Tess’ owner, Ms Cuthell, said her canine will come from wherever she is in the house to howl at the theme tune.

She said: ‘She’s a fabulous dog hardly leaving my partners side since he has been diagnosed with Leukaemia.
‘She is a marvellous dog, intelligent and playful -the best alarm we have ever had.
‘She loves water and has the whitest coat but loves getting muddy. Fortunately she dries and the mud drops off and l hoover it up!’

This is not the first time dog owners have noticed their pets howl to the crime drama’s theme song.
In another example, filmed in 2008, a Jack Russell named Knuckles was spotted lifting his head up to howl to the drama’s soundtrack.
The theme song for Law and Order was written by composer Mike Post and uses the electric piano, guitar, and clarinet.
