An over eager football fan had his pre-game preparations cut short when he had to be rushed to hospital after downing a bottle of Sambuca.
The England supporter had been out drinking in Seville ahead of Monday night’s match against Spain where the Three Lions won 3-2.
Videos show a young man trying to get up off the floor and then later being put on a stretcher while other football fans sing God Save The Queen around him.
Paramedics and other fans tried to help the man onto the stretcher while some merry supporters sang God Save The Queen in the background
A friend of the fan told the Mirror said it was ‘annoying’ and that his pal’s rowdy drinking had ‘ruined his day.’
However his friend was said to be recovering well and able to leave hospital soon, although it is not known if managed to watch the match.
In the video posted on Twitter a man, with a cut on his elbow, can be seen being put on the stretcher by paramedics and other football fans.
The men around him delight in a rendition of God Save The Queen as the man tries to resist being laid down, but eventually rests on the stretcher.

In another video a man in a white shirt can be seen trying to get up off the floor while a friend dressed in a blue top tries to help him.
Dozens of other men can be seen in the video, which appears to have been filmed in a bar, watching the man’s attempts to find his feet and some of them can be heard singing.
A stretcher can also be seen heading towards a parked ambulance in the short clip while a group of men follow it.
Around 3,000 supporters made the journey to the southern Spanish city over the weekend.

One hooligan could be seen using his left foot to kick off a wing mirror as he walked past a parked car as fellow supporters chanted football songs.
The FA moved to condemn the behaviour of some fans on Monday, warning that those involved would be banned if caught.
A statement from the FA released on Monday afternoon read: ‘We condemn the unacceptable behaviour witnessed in Seville.
‘With the Spain fixture still to come on Monday night, we urge those following the team to respect our hosts and act in a responsible manner.’
