A modern day caveman living in the Alps is now offering lessons on how to be a Neanderthal.
Guido Camia, 37, who used to work as a pastry chef, has ditched city-living to be one with nature – armed with just a spear and arrow to ward off danger.
He is now offering survival classes to anyone who wants to learn how to live like him.
Guido charges $100 to show people how to climb rocks while dressed in animal skins, fish barefoot with a spear and light up fires.
Speaking to Agence France-Presses, Guido said: “I show them how Neanderthals lived, what they ate, how they lit fires, used a spear.
“I show them how to use the basic equipment to cook.”
The primitive outdoor courses are supervised by Italy’s International Survival Federation.
Guido said his "passion for the paleolithic" inspired him to live like the Neanderthals, who roamed the earth more than 40,000 years ago.
He said: “He discovered fire. He was able to adapt to all weather .
“He was a nomad who moved around a lot, lived in caves, but also knew how to build small shelters.”
