A BOGUS psychiatrist medicated 164 patients at a single health trust — including one who died.
New Zealander Zholia Alemi, 56, worked for the NHS for 22 years with a forged degree.
A Freedom of Information request uncovered the toll at the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust.
But she worked at others across the UK, so the total will be much higher.
Alemi arrived in the UK in 1995 and was investigated nine times before being exposed.
In October she was jailed in Carlisle for five years over a £1.3million fraud, drawing up a fake will for a woman of 84 who she was asked to assess.
She has been quizzed over other allegations.
While she was at Lothingland Hospital in Oulton, Suffolk, epilepsy sufferer Darren King, 31, drowned in his bath.
Alemi refused a family request to assess the danger.
The Trust said: “Checks are more robust than in the 1990s.”
