X Factor: Celebrity fans were left fuming this evening as the voting opened before any acts had sung.
Tonight V5, Megan McKenna, Max & Harvey and Jenny Ryan will compete to be crowned the winner – but viewers got the chance to pick their favourite before the first song.
Taking to Twitter to brand it unfair, one person wrote: “You can vote already? No one's sung (?). Are the voting numbers that low? #XFactorCelebrity.”
Another added: “Surely it’s not fair that the vote is open now? It should be once all the acts have sung @TheXFactor #TheXFactor #XFactorCelebrity.”
While someone else tweeted: “So vote lines are open before any has performed, so TOWIE fans, or The Chase fans, are currently in battle #xfactorcelebrity.”
During tonight's show the contestants will sing one Christmas song, followed by one of their own choice if they make it through to the next round.
The first one will be their choice of Christmas songs – V5 will be belting out All I Want for Christmas, while Max & Harvey have picked Last Christmas.
Jenny Ryan is singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Megan McKenna has chosen One More Sleep.
The hopefuls will then perform their favourite track of the series so far, which means Megan will be performing her original song This once again.
The Chase star Jenny will treat viewers to her incredible rendition of Edge Of Glory, while V5 do Bad Guy/ Taki Taki and Max & Harvey sing Kiss You.
Fifteen acts from the worlds of music, film, sport, television and social media competed for a place in the final and a recording contract.
Footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones, journalist Martin Bashir and a group of Love Islanders were among those tested in either the audition or live rounds.
The finale will feature a special performance by The Pussycat Dolls to mark their comeback, 10 years after they split.
