When are Morecambe and Wise on TV over Christmas?

Fans will be elated to hear that we will see two newfound episodes of The Morecambe and Wise Show this Christmas.

The first thirty-minute-long episode of The Lost Show will be broadcast on Boxing Day at 7:50pm on BBC2.

The second will be shown afterwards at 8:30pm.

The installments were discovered by an expert in Africa years.

How were the lost episodes found?

The two lost episodes of the iconic comedy show were recently found in Sierra Leone.

Both programmes were broadcast back in 1968.

However, they were lost after the BBC wiped it away alongside thousands of other tapes to make space for new recordings.

The discovery was made by an archive preservation expert, Phillip Morris, in a derelict cinema.

What do these episodes consist of?

The episodes feature numerous sketches and even a guest appearance by Michael Aspel who was a young BBC presenter at the time.
