Viewers aren’t happy after last night’s episode of TOWIE (September 17), which saw Pete Wicks and Shelby Tribble rowing and seemingly splitting.
Early on in the episode, Shelby told Yazmin Oukhellou that Pete hadn’t been in contact while he was on a work trip in Ibiza – a place where there are other women. To add insult to injury, he missed his flight.
Later, Pete and Shelby were seen chatting and things got heated, with Shelby confronting Pete about messaging other girls.
“I’ve got too much respect and too much love for you to stand there and make it some bitter horrible piece of shit. If you don’t believe that, then you don’t believe it,” Pete said.
“I don’t want to do this anymore,” Shelby said, before bursting into tears.
Pete replied: “I don’t know if I can give you what you want. And I probably ain’t enough for what you want.”
“Watching my @Shelby_Tribble cry actually makes me so upset / angry. Countless years we have been friends and I can tell you, she deserves the world more then most,” wrote Shelby’s friend Olivia Attwood.
One fan agreed: “Deserves so much better!”
A second tweeted: “I remember when Pete used to make Megan feel the exact same way that shelby does now.. maybe the issues with Pete & not the girls he’s with.”
Another said: “Seems Pete is having exactly the same issues with Shelby as he did with Megan.. don’t have a girlfriend if you want to text other girls and stop making girls cry!!”
