When you’re as close-knit as the cast of Riverdale, anything is possible: selfies, pranks, unscripted red carpet moments, and the type of chemistry that basically screams, We’re having the best time—despite being three seasons in. It’s a shame they’re not currently casting for a mysterious new character or extra because well, don’t you want to be a part of this?
Thumbs up for this friendship, which started as soon as Jughead and Archie were cast in 2016. And thumbs up for Cole’s windowpane suit.

Somewhere, Betty is rolling her eyes at Alice’s use of a smartphone. But right here, Lily is beaming with pride and joy as her co-star snaps an audience pic for later.
Either KJ missed the beginning of Cami’s joke, or the joke is about something KJ did. Come on, bud, join in on the fun!
Straight and serious faces can also be funny. But can someone explain what Daddy Andrews is looking at?
It’s only a matter of time before Vanessa’s pup gets to guest star on Riverdale and show Hot Dog and Vegas the exact same face.
This time, the faces behind Fred and Alice are definitely not in on the joke. Are they laughing at the tiny water bottles in front of KJ, the fact that it’s been 28 years since Beverly Hills, 90210 premiered, or a mystery smell?
Definitely a mystery smell, maybe belonging to KJ, who suddenly looks serious again. Note Lily’s hand on his, which only stirs the hearts of Barchie shippers everywhere. Sigh.
Is there anything more beautiful than KJ and Cole in front of some west coast snowcapped mountains? Someone frame this ASAP.
Just like B and V, Cami and Lili are joined at the hip (and look adorable with their matching outfits).
Someone give KJ a prize for having the biggest smile in this group photo—and Cole a gold star for that stealth unbuttoned look.
When you’re dealing with poor light but you all look too good to not selfie. Thanks, KJ, for capturing this precious moment.
Love a good parenting moment, like this one of Alice and Hermione sharing a laugh without the kids on the red carpet.
You can almost hear Luke say, “Son, you’re going to have to explain these tattoos to me.”
If only all awards were presented with the matching facial expressions of these Riverdale ladies and KJ Apa’s impressive suit.
Watch out, Daniel Craig. These guys are coming for your Bond role… as soon as Archie and Reggie graduate from high school.
Casey Cott = actual footage of us laughing at anyone who says Idris Elba should not be the next James Bond.
Find someone who looks at you the way Skeet looks at Mädchen at a Comic-Con panel that should’ve been called Falice 101.
Not to be outdone by Falice, this candid moment of Fred and Hermione is pretty sweet, too. #JusticeforFermione!
There’s nothing funny about #Choni (they fall under Riverdale Couples to Ship Forever, thxvm), but this is proof that silly selfies are always better than serious selfies.
While most of you are focused on the location of Cole’s right hand in this cast photo from 2016, let’s also appreciate how Luke got away with sneaking in this shot looking like KJ’s slightly older yet still hot cousin.
If the first thing you noticed was Cole’s low-cut shirt (again), congratulations, you’ve won a lifetime supply of low-cut button shirts.
JK. No shirts are coming your way, but here is this excellent image of the cast laughing simultaneously at something (the term jingle jangle, Sheriff Keller’s abs, KJ’s hair—take your pick).
Comic-Con 2018 was basically a funny episode of Riverdale. These two could barely contain the giggles during a panel.
Tag yourself: we’re Camila laughing mid-sentence. No wait—we’re Mark look cool and calm (unlike his biceps).
An honorary Serpent and a Serpent Queen walk into a speakeasy… (that only serves mocktails because teenagers can’t drink).
Coming next season: a three-headed creature featuring Kevin, Archie, and Cheryl.
Can you tell Juniper from Dagwood? Same, but it looks like aunt Betty is keeping one of them entertained while the other enjoys a finger snack!
Here is a reminder that KJ Apa once wore a romper (sorry, romphim) to the Teen Choice Awards and that Cole Sprouse did not.
And here’s KJ and that romphim getting into a thing with a giant bear while everyone else watched. Gotta love the support here.
Reason #234 why the cast of Riverdale should always be on late night TV: look how much fun they had sitting on this extra long couch! And they hadn’t even gotten to the shared milkshake yet!
