The Stranger – Hannah John-Kamen
The title character is played by Hannah John-Kamen who is known for her roles in Ant-Man and The Wasp and Ready Player One.
The mysterious stranger has a gift of knowing everyone’s secrets and uses it to her advantage.
She exposes people’s deepest secrets which cause their lives to shatter around them.
Viewers will be unnerved by her special abilities and supernatural look.

Adam Price – Richard Armitage
Richard Armitage is best known for his role as Thorin Oakenshield in The Hobbit.
He has won a number of acting awards including Best Actor for his role in The Hobbit.
In this new series he plays the protagonist who gets caught up in the Stranger’s game.
She reveals a shocking secret about his wife and his family is torn apart.
DS Johanna Griffin – Siobhan Finneran
Siobhan, who is 53, is known for her roles in Rita and Coronation Street.
In this new series she plays the police detective but her role in the investigation becomes deeply personal.
The show was produced by Red Production Company and Finneran said she was excited to be working with them again.
She said: “After the success and utter joy of working on Happy Valley with them, it’s great to now be involved in such a new and exciting project.”

Heidi – Jennifer Saunders
This is an unexpected role for the comedic Jennifer Saunders, who made up one half of the hilarious duo – French and Saunders.
The comedian and actress stars as Heidi, the closest friend of DS Johanna Griffin.
This will be her first major dramatic role as an outgoing character.
She said: “There is a great cast and production team with strong credentials lined up.”

The new series also features Shaun Dooley as Tripp, Paul Kaye as John Katz, Dervla Kirwan as Corrine Price and Kadiff Kirwan as DC Wesley Ross.
The eight-part series has been produced by Madonna Baptiste with Daniel O’Hara as lead director and Hannah Quinn as second block director.
The Stranger was created by Harlan Coben, and is based on his best-selling novel.
Filming for the Netflix show started on March 4 in and around the UK.
