We’re quite excited for E!’s upcoming reality show The Bi Life, not just because it stars Celebrity Big Brother winner and potential national treasure Courtney Act as host, but it’s going to feature guys and girls dating both guys and girls, which is awesome.
Just over two weeks ahead of its launch, the cast of Brits jetting off to Barcelona to find love have been unveiled, so why don’t we all take a look?
Carmen Clarke
Carmen is a 21-year old from Manchester. She will join the show in episode six and, as a model since the age of 14, she is sure to gets pulses racing. Her bugbear is being told she “looks straight” and is “too pretty” to be bi.
Daisie Thilwind
Daisie is 26 and also from Manchester. As a fraud prevention officer we imagine she’s good at spotting catfishes. She hasn’t been in a relationship for five years and hopes to change that soon.
Irene Ellis
Irene is 23 and from London. She said that when she told her last boyfriend she was bisexual, he immediately asked for a threesome. She joined the show to feel comfortable in her sexuality.
Kyle McGovern
Kyle is 23 and from South Wales. Kyle only came out a year ago after dating mainly girls. He says there’s not that many people online on Tinder in the valleys (this writer can confirm that is indeed the case).
Leonnie Cavill
Leonnie is 27 and from (where else?) Manchester. As a club promoter who recently worked in Ibiza, Leonnie likes her fun. Rather than settle down, she wants a partner to enjoy wild nights with.
Mariella Amodeo
Mariella is 33 and from London. Coming from a big Italian/Caribbean family, Mariella says she is feeling the pressure to settle down, and wants a fairytale romance.
Matt Brindley
Matt is 27 and from Chester. He is an influencer agent (how very Love Island!) and while he dates more men overall, his last long-term relationship was with a girl. What’s he looking for in a partner? 10/10 looks.
Michael Gunning
Michael is 24 and from Manchester. Michael has competed for Great Britain in international swimming competitions and hopes to represent Jamaica at the 2020 Olympics! His career hasn’t allowed much time for love, so let’s hope that changes for him.
Ryan Cleary
Ryan is 27 and from London. Ryan works as a fitness influencer (there’s that word again). He says that he is sick of people telling him that bisexuals are greedy, and hopes the show will change perceptions.
Interestingly, former Big Brother contestant Alex Lee Rose previously said that she would be appearing on the show, but isn’t listed as part of the cast. Maybe she just appears as a date in one of the episodes? Keep your eyes peeled, people.
The Bi Life debuts on E! on Thursday, October 25 at 9pm.
