The Apprentice is finally back on our screens again and the past 24 hours have seen viewers of the show cringing, bemoaning the lack of an Apprentice staple and raising eyebrows at one candidate’s rather sexist take on trash-talking the Girls’ team.
But if you haven’t been busy taking in all of that, then chances are you’re one of the viewers who’ve been left pondering over the question of candidate Kayode Damali.
Yes, he of the three-hand official portrait has certainly made an impression on viewers in his one hour of telly so far – the problem being that no-one can seem to decide just what kind of an impression he’s making.
On the one hand, anyone who steps up as Project Manager on the first task deserves kudos, and his confidence and sheer joy at being there quickly won him some fans:

And then there were just those of us who were disappointed to find out Kayode’s official Apprentice photograph wasn’t actually an accurate photo after all:
Of course, Kayode wasn’t fired – find out who was and what they had to say about it right here – and even managed to lead his team to victory in the first task, so there’ll be plenty of time for viewers to make their minds up in the weeks to come.

The Apprentice continues next Wednesday (October 10) at 9pm on BBC One.
