Terrified Holly Willoughby takes a tumble in front of Declan Donnelly as she films nail biting I'm A Celebrity helicopter scenes

The host, 37, fell to her feet after arriving to Springbrook National Park in Queensland by helicopter, which left her and her co-host in a fit of giggles.

Ready to kick start the series, the This Morning presenter, who has been vocal about her fear of flying, looked effortlessly chic in a pair of red high-waisted shorts and white short-sleeved blouse.

Despite her stylish display, it appeared that Holly was a little too overcome with excitement for the day ahead as she took a spill while enthusiastically following Dec to set in her flat sandals.

As Holly fell to her feet, she reached out her arms towards Dec's leg. The Saturday Night Takeaway host quickly responded and helped Holly to her feet.

The rib-tickling moment left the pals in hysterics as they wrapped an arm around each other making it safely to set.

Holly has previously discussed her fear of flying on This Morning and spoke to psychotherapists Nik and Eva Speakman to try to heal her deep-rooted nerves.

In 2016, the mother-of-three said she whipped into a blind panic after sitting in a passenger seat for Feel the Fear back in 2005, which prompted a serious phobia which she only recently addressed.

The blonde blombshell, who is a daughter of an air hostess, lifted the lid on her airport jitters.

She said: "My mum was an air hostess and I loved it. I never had a problem doing it (flying).

"They tested me on the show and I had to do barrel rolls and I plummeted to the ground. I was scared to within an inch of my life."

Talking of watching her in-flight drama in a clip from the show, she said: "Watching it makes me feel upset.

"Now when I look out of a plane window I feel when are we going to go down on the ground, because I know what it feels like. I have seen it."

After facing her fears that summer on a family holiday, Holly admitted that she conquered her phobia of planes – although helicopters are potentially a different fear.

Holly's hilarious slip-up Down Under comes after she squealed with excitement in the first look of her presenting alongside Dec in the jungle.

In a new trailer the presenting pair promise an "adventure of a lifetime" as Holly takes the helm for the very first time, while Ant McPartlin takes a break from the ITV show.

Squealing, Holly replies: "I know, how did I get here? Help me! It's so exciting!"

Looking jungle ready, Holly is seen wearing a snake print miniskirt with a T-shirt featuring a cobra design.

In the clip which will air tonight, Dec says: "The wait is almost over and the adventure of a lifetime is about to begin for ten familiar faces, I mean 11 familiar faces. You are in the jungle!"

This year's line-up includes Harry Redknapp, John Barrowman and The Chase's Anne Hegerty.
