It turns out the radio DJ, who will take to the dance floor with partner Graziano Di Prima this weekend, has actually got years of training up her sleeve.
Speaking to Laeze magazine last December, the gorgeous star, 28, admitted she has worked as a dancer in an Argentinian nightclub and is an avid dance class attendee.
She told the mag: "I love to dance; I grew up doing ballet and contemporary, and danced in a reggaeton club for extra money while I lived in Buenos Aires.
"For me, it’s the most liberating, visceral and satisfying way of expressing yourself, and whether it’s going to tango classes, dancing salsa or cumbia in a club, or getting involved in social dances like samba at Carnival while travelling, I can’t think of a better way to spend my time.
"One of my dream jobs would actually be to travel the world learning the national dances of every country I visit, as a way of exploring and understanding their peoples and cultures."
But while Vick has a history of dancing, she previously admitted that some of the dance styles performed on the show will be completely new to her.
"Dances like Ballroom and Latin are totally outside my comfort zone but I love dancing, it makes people happy – myself included," she said shortly after she was announced.
Of course, the broadcaster's experience only levels the playing field as she will be up against Ashley Roberts, known for her moves in girl-band the Pussycat Dolls, and Faye Tozer of pop band Steps fame.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online last month, Vick confessed she has already felt chemistry with at least one of her potential teachers.
She told us: "I've only come here to learn how to dance … but of course there is chemistry.
"The girls and boys, they're amazing! And I don't know about romances but I can't take my eyes off them."
