Shirley Ballas has been accused of "throwing shade" at dancer Karen Clifton over choreography disagreements.
Karen and her celeb partner, Charles Venn, dazzled with their amazing disco inflected Cha Cha Cha, as Cha Cha Charles wore a bright red. skin tight body suit to shake his booty.
But Shirley was not impressed as she said there was only "eight bars of Cha Cha Cha" in the routine, which she felt forced her to mark them down.
Later on, however, in the next Cha Cha Cha to be performed, Shirley praised the "content" of the routine, choreographed by Karen’s mate Janette Manrara.
After Shirley’s stern comments to Karen, the dancer apologised to her partner for potentially ruining their scoring opportunities, as the pair went to chat to host Claudia Winkleman.
Karen said to Charles and Claudia: "I’m sorry about that, that is probably my fault."
The next Cha Cha Cha came from Janette and her celeb partner, Dr Ranj Singh, but even though Craig said it was "camp" and it ultimately was scored less favourably, Shirley took the time to specifically commend Janette’s choreography for making her routine a purer version of the dance.
Fans picked up on this and took to social media to proclaim how Shirley had subtly dug the knife in Karen’s back.
