STRICTLY Come Dancing stars Gorka Marquez and Katie McGlynn on a united front as they appeared on It Takes Two this evening.
The pair have been plagued by fans suggesting they don’t get along after viewers spotted “tension” on the dance floor.
But Gorka and Katie certainly seemed happy enough as they chatted to Rylan Clark-Neal this evening about their upcoming dance.
Katie is set to play Cruella De Vil as they perform to a song from the new film Cruella, which will be a big transformation for her.
She explained: "She is evil, she's a fashionista, she's very dominant, she's above everybody else.
"So yeah, that's gonna be really fun to play. I love playing evil people, yeah, because I would like to say I'm not evil."
Showing just how well they got on, Gorka told her: "No, you're like the sweetest girl."
Over the weekend the pro dancer hit back about their relationship.
He said: “And to those who think that we aren't getting on, keep thinking it [thumbs up and crying laughing emois]."
After Saturday night’s show viewers took to social media to point out "tension" between Katie, 28, and Gorka, 31, both on the show and on their respective social media accounts.
Fans noted that Spanish star Gorka looked glum in posts made by the soap actress before the live show as they prepared for their second dance.
It came after the pair appeared to have disagreed over the amount of time that Hollyoaks star Katie spent rehearsing as she skipped dancing for filming.
She was spotted in Liverpool filming for Hollyoaks as Gorka snided ahead of their dance that they had "no hours to train".
"If you achieve what you do with no experience and no hours to train, I can't wait to see the rest," the professional dancer told her last week.
Despite their jive wowing the judges, fans couldn't help but notice how the tension continued after their second dance.
