Former Strictly pro dancer Brendan Cole has hit out at Jason Gardiner following his "vicious" comments on the ice.
The 42-year-old, who appeared on the BBC dance show until 2017, blasted the Dancing On Ice judge for his lack of constructive criticism and his overwhelming ‘nastiness’.
In comparison, he said that Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood layered his criticism "with a bit of lightness" and didn’t have a "nasty undertone".
Appearing on Loose Women today, panelist Gloria Hunniford compared him to Jason – something that he couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows about.
"He’s vicious and I don’t agree with viciousness – you need to be constructive," Brendan said.
Asked about his opinion on the Jason and Gemma Collins row, in which she lashed out at him for "selling stories" on her, he admitted that he didn’t think the GC looked too good in the spat wither.
"I don’t know the ins and outs," Brendan said. "She didn’t come across particularly well in my opinion."
But he added: "[Jason’s] nastiness… you don’t speak to someone like that in normal life."

Speaking about judge Craig, he said: "I love Craig on strictly, he does it with a bit of lightness… there’s not really a nasty undertone."
Brendan also admitted that he thought pal James Jordan had a massive advantage as a dancer on the show.
"I said the other day that he wasn’t at the top of the leaderboard because that’s a no-no for a dancer," he said. "As a dancer you know how to stand … even lifting his partner, he’s been doing it for years."
