Strictly Come Dancing favourite Neil Jones will get an early Christmas present this year after it’s announced he’s finally landed himself a celebrity partner.
The ballroom star has been a familiar face on the show for the last two years but has yet to compete as a pro dancer.
Instead Neil has appeared in group dances, guided choreography and offered his expertise on spin-off show It Takes Two.
But for the festive special, Neil will finally get a chance to strut his stuff on the dance floor as it’s claimed he is to partner up with former Strictly champ Caroline Flack.
Flackers is to make a dramatic return for the show four years after she seized the Glitterball Trophy in 2014 alongside Pasha Kovalev.
A source told The Sun Caroline "jumped at the chance" to return to the BBC dance show.
But they claimed she’s set to be disappointment with her partner Neil, 35.
"She expected to be paired up with pro dancer Pasha Kovalev again, but Strictly bosses were inundated with requests for Neil to finally get a celebrity dance partner," said the show insider.
They also claimed Neil’s appearance on the show is the bosses way of showing their appreciation of the way he handled kissing-gate.
Neil’s wife Katya was pictured locking lips with her Strictly dancer partner Seann Walsh earlier this month, dragging the family show into scandal.
Katya since apologised for her behaviour while defending her five year marriage to Neil.
While Seann was subsequently dumped by his girlfriend of five years Rebecca Humphries.
While TV star Caroline is well used to her own personal life hitting the headlines following her much documented on-off relationship with Andrew Brady.
The pair called off their engagement over the summer before reconciling last month.
However, earlier this week it was reported things could be off again between the tumultuous pair following a series of rows.
Mirror Online has contacted representatives for comment.
