Strictly fans call for Neil Jones to be axed after shocking It Takes Two scenes

Strictly Come Dancing fans have called for Neil Jones to be axed after shocking scenes on It Takes Two.

The professional dancer, who does not have a partner, has been slammed for his comedy segment.

Neil failed to get fans laughing with his role as self-centered world champion dancer Nell De Jaunse.

Katya Jones’ husband wore glasses, a curly ginger wig, a red jumper and chequered trousers as he transformed into the vain dancer.

A lot of viewers are not fans of Neil’s comedy stylings and want bosses to scrap the unpopular section of the show.

Angry It Takes Two viewers called for Neil to take off the glasses and wig.

One viewer said: "It’s that funny #notfunny creepy Neil again. #Ittakestwo PS @BBCTwo he needs to be dropped."

Another added: "Just make that awful Neil thing go away now & forever," added another.

A third said: "Someone make this stop now #Strictly #itt @Mr_NJones #cringe"

The video started with Neil looking at himself in the mirror while doing his hair.

Putting on a posh accent, he said: "Hello, didn’t see you there. Just checking out my award winning hair."

The "15 times world champion" then started his salsa tutorial, telling viewers to get to their feet and feel the Latin beat.

He was also joined by his cousin and occasional gardener Tallulah to go through some steps.

Neil, or should that be Nell, said: "I think it’s now time for a hold, or as I call it, the world champion hold."

At the end, he said: "Don’t forget to tune in next time for more dancing. You never know, maybe you will become a world champion dancer like ‘moi’.

He added: "Highly unlikely, but you never know."

It Takes Two airs weekdays on BBC Two at 6.30pm
