Ever since the Seann Walsh and Katya Jones kiss, this series of Strictly Come Dancing has been full of drama.
This weekend saw Seann and Katya in the dance-off for the first time, but the judges opted to save the pair over Vick Hope and Graziano Di Prima, and Vick was not happy about it.
In an interview yesterday, Vick stated that head judge Shirley Ballas enjoyed criticising her in particular, and that producers were called in before the judges made their decisions.
The BBC denied that this was the case, telling Digital Spy: “It is categorically untrue to imply that producers tell the Judges how to score or who to save.“
And now Graziano has denied Vick’s allegations too, both about Shirley and the producers, in an interview with Bang Showbiz.
“I don’t really agree with that,” he said (via The Daily Mail). “Shirley is an amazing teacher and a professional teacher before. So if she said that it’s because it’s true.
“It’s her work, if you see on the show she really looked to the legs and the feet, the timing and everything. So for people who never dance before, you understand the feeling more than the technique.”
He added: “Also during the week when you dance with a person who has never danced before you have to understand also the feeling. That’s why it’s so hard for us, a pro dancer, it’s not just about the dance. The dance is the easy part.”
Graziano came under fire from viewers following the elimination, with fans claiming that his routines are the weakest out of all the professionals.
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday (October 27) on BBC One.
