Anton Du Beke, 53, and Emma, 42, managed to top the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard on Saturday night with the pair going from strength-to-strength on this year’s series. However, the professional dancer has revealed he has concerns over their performance this routine as the pair prepare to take on the dramatic Paso Doble this weekend on the BBC dance show.
With only 12 contestants left in the line-up, Anton will be hoping he and the soap actress can continue to progress in the competition.
Last weekend, they were saved by the British public for the third time after securing a score of 35 for their endearing Waltz.
The stalwart joined Phillip Schofield, 57, and Holly Willoughby, 38, on ITV’s This Morning to discuss the journey he and Emma have had this week.
What the professional had to say however could mean the pair are closer to elimination on Saturday night than they would have hoped.

After discussing the heartfelt emotion behind the Waltz, the Strictly veteran was quizzed on the drama of the Paso Doble.
Anton told the hosts: “It’s a great dance which is also narrative led dance. All about line and intention. Those qualities Emma has in abundance.”
The professional was asked how he was finding trying to train with his partner whilst she’s also committing herself to the EastEnders filming schedule.
Praising his celebrity partner, the dancer said: “She’s doing incredibly well. She is constantly working on EastEnders, she’s got a really busy schedule there.”
This week’s been a bit of a struggle.

“So, she’s doing two massive jobs,” Anton continued.
Explaining the situation ahead of their performance this Saturday, the dancing star said: “This week’s been a bit of a struggle.
“Emma was filming Monday and Tuesday so we only got into the studio yesterday and then before you know it, it’s show day.
Despite the difficult schedule clashes, the professional dancer expressed his confidence Emma will dazzle on the dance floor this weekend.

“So she hasn’t had a lot of time but she’s such a hard worker and such a pro,” the professional opined.
However, the EastEnders star be in jeopardy of leaving the competition?
Emma’s chances of winning are currently looking steady, with the EastEnders star at 5-1 to lift the Glitterball trophy according to latest odds from Coral bookmakers.
The actress will have to beat off stiff competition from soap rival and Emmerdale favourite Kelvin Fletcher, 35, who’s storming ahead at 5-6.

On the other end of the spectrum, it seems former footballer David James, 49, is in the greatest danger of being the fourth celebrity eliminated.
Amateur dancer David is at evens to be sent home, so after facing the dance off twice already, will it be third time unlucky?
Last weekend saw the shock elimination of Radio One presenter Dev Griffin, 34, and his professional partner Dianne Buswell, 30.
Speaking of the odds, Coral spokesperson John Hill said: “Dev’s elimination last weekend proves no contestant is safe on Strictly, however, we make David James the favourite to be the fourth contestant to depart the show.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
