'Southern Charm' Star Ashley Jacobs Says Thomas Ravenel Has a New Girlfriend

Season 6 of Southern Charm is rapidly approaching its reunion episode and the season’s end, to a mix of dismay and excitement from fans. The second half of Season 6 has been a wild ride, with Madison LeCroy being pilloried by fans and cast members alike for sharing STD rumors about Shep Rose and Danni Baird.

And who can forget the return of Ashley Jacobs? The Southern Charm star, received as a villain after butting heads with Kathryn Dennis and other cast members over the last two seasons, made a brief return to the show. Jacobs pulled Kathryn aside during a fox hunt to make an apology, and made similar overtures with over Southern Charm cast members.

While Ashley Jacobs is now back in California, she seems to still be on friendly terms with Thomas Ravenel, and even revealed via Instagram that Ravenel has a new love in his life.

During a recent episode of Southern Charm, both Kathryn Dennis and Ashley Jacobs were invited to a fox hunt with Eliza Limehouse and other members of the Southern Charm crew. During the hunt, Jacobs and Dennis had an opportunity to chat, and Jacobs tried to clear the air.

When the two stepped aside to discuss their past differences, Jacobs made her initial apology. She told Dennis, “Thank you so much for just being, even approachable. I should have reached out to you a long time ago and I just want to say that what I said to you was none of my f****** business. Who am I to tell somebody how they should raise their kids, what kind of mother they are?”

Jacobs revealed that, when she made her now-infamous “egg donor” comment about Dennis, her own family came down on her. “They didn’t talk to me for a while, they were so disappointed in me. My sister said, ‘I’m a mother and if someone said that to me, I’d want to kill them,’” said Jacobs.

She added, “You have to understand Kathryn, I really wanted you to know that I was not a threat to you. I was never trying to break up your family. I was really supportive of you and Thomas’ relationship. I was your biggest fan, really.”

Patricia Altschul previously played coy

In the past, Ashley Jacobs has made it clear that she’ll always have some degree of emotional connection to Thomas Ravenel.

After their breakup, Jacobs said, “I don’t want to comment but there are just some things I’m trying to handle privately. Before I say too much, I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas. I’ll always care about him.”

She added, “I’m still trying to work it out, not work out getting back together, but I’m still trying to figure it out. I think everyone’s been through breakups before but it’s hard. It’s not easy. … Sometimes you just want to stay quiet and figure out what the next move in your life is going to be. … I’m just trying to take care of myself the best way that I can.”

And fair enough — breakups are emotionally tumultuous and can really take a lot out of both parties. Patricia Altschul, however, spread rumors that the two were back together again.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Altschul said, “Let me tell you what somebody told me, they ran into Thomas, I think this was last week, they said, ‘Are you still with that woman?’ And he said, ‘Well, yeah. Who else am I going to get?’”

Whatever Patricia Altschul might have to say about Jacobs’ relationship with Ravenel, Jacobs’ own Instagram comments tell an entirely different story.

In a recent Instagram post, Jacobs showed off the ensemble she wore to Eliza Limehouse’s fox hunt. In the comments, a fan asked, “Are you still with Thomas?”

Jacobs wrote back, “No!! He’s got a girlfriend who’s absolutely lovely! I’m friends with them both[.]”

While we don’t currently have more details on Ravenel’s new flame, it sounds as if Ravenel and Jacobs have managed to remain amicable after their split.
