Simon Cowell wants Louis Tomlinson to 'not think about X Factor' after sister's

The talent competition hit their lowest ratings ever last year despite the all-star judges’ panel including Louis, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field

However, after just one season, Robbie and Ayda have stepped down from coming back, with Louis’s future uncertain.

Now media mogul Cowell is doubling down with two special series to bring back the show to its glory days.

Continuing to talk to the paper, Simon said: ‘I am going to be really honest with you – and this is no disrespect to Robbie or anyone else who has been on the panel – my focus this year is mainly about the people who are coming on the show to compete.

‘I’m probably talking myself out of a job here, but I think there has been so much emphasis on the judges.’

Admitting last year’s panel cost ‘millions and millions’, Simon added: ‘We’ve lost sight of the contestants.

‘It got crazy, I never thought this would happen 20 years ago, when I started this show, that we would be talking more about the judges than the contestants, it’s complete nonsense.’

With Robbie and Ayda now out of next year’s show, he added that Louis’ future remains uncertain, but he’ll support his decision to step down.

To add a bit of glitz, the auditions will be held in the millionaire’s LA mansion.

Despite winning the series back in 2017, band Rak-Su have already announced they won’t be taking part in All Stars.

The X Factor returns later this year on ITV.
