Hayley Slater makes plans to leave Walford this evening as she fears her baby secret has finally been exposed.
Kat, played by Jessie Wallace, does not know that Hayley is pregnant or that she has been secretly talking to ex Alfie.
Or, more crucially, that Alfie is the father of her baby.
Earlier this year, EastEnders viewers were left reeling when they found out that that Alfie and Hayley had had a drunken one night stand in Spain while he and Kat were having problems.
Tonight, Hayley (Katie Jarvis) is confronted by Kat as she demands to know whether she has heard anything from Alfie.
Hayley is worried that she might know something, but is relieved when Kat says she is just desperate to speak to her children on their birthday.
