This includes Mark who is a marketing manager who also performs drag under the name Cybil war.
The 31-year-old grew up with a father who was part of the army, having spent a number of years in the SAS.
He told Channel 4 how this was one of the major reason why he decided to sign-up.
He said: “My father was SAS so it’s something that I’ve always known about in the periphery of my life growing up but I knew nothing of it.
“Watching the first four series of the show it just became my favourite show and when you’re sat at home watching it you think ‘I could do that’ so I thought ‘well, I’d better prove it then.’”
Joining Mark in the line-up is 40-year-old Carla who is a former Olympian.
She competed in the Bejing Olympics in 2008 as a GB rower after sailing across the Atlantic at just 21-years-old.
However, it was during her chemo sessions for invasive breast cancer when she decided she wanted to take part in SAS Who Dares Wins.
Carla told Channel 4 making the adjustment so soon after her chemo was a difficult one.
She said: “Post chemotherapy I was a broken soul, I had trained throughout chemo, but more to keep mentally alive than to make any physical gains.
“The time period between the end of my treatment (chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy) and the SAS course was tight.
“I pushed myself as hard as I physically could, but invariably I knew I was entering the show with some huge areas of weakness.”
The pair join 23 other competitors in the show.
