Celebrity Gogglebox fans tuned into Channel 4 once more on Friday evening to see what the line-up of famous faces thought of the weeks biggest TV shows. On hand to offer their critique on the likes of Too Hot to Handle and The Woman in the Window were celebrities including Zoe Ball, Denise Van Outen, Eamonn Holmes, Mo Gilligan and Ruth Langsford. However, one of the biggest talking points came when Ruth and Eamonn watched the aforementioned Netflix dating show Too Hot to Handle and the former dropped a rather racy comment.

The first part of Too Hot to Handle season two dropped on Netflix on Wednesday.

The premise of the show sees a group of sexy, single 20-somethings jetted off to a private villa, all under the impression a summer of sex and partying lies ahead.

Instead, the cast is tricked into a strict summer in which the contestants are urged to form relationships without sexual contact with a potential $100,000 jackpot at stake for those who embrace the experience.

As the Celebrity Gogglebox line-up sat down to watch the events unfold, the This Morning pair didn’t hold back with their thoughts.

“They’re just all horny, ennit,” comedian Mo Gilligan commented, soon followed by Denise Van Outen explaining the rules: “She’s [Lana] literally like the eyes who watches everything that’s going on.”

“No touching, no kissing, no sex,” Roman Kemp explained to his father Martin, who quipped back: “What’s the point in that?”

Nick Grimshaw tried to get his head around the rules: “They’ve basically gotta decide whether they want to b**e a hot person or win $100,000.”

But when Ruth tried to explain all to Eamonn, it’s fair to say he – and many Channel 4 viewers – weren’t ready for her phrasing.

“They think they’ve all come for party, party, sexy time,” Ruth began before pointing to the show’s “fake host” Jeff.

“This guy’s now going to tell them…” she added before Eamonn cut in: “It’s all abstinence!”

And as the clips continued from the series which saw contestant Cam ask his pals to guard the door so he could indulge in a spot of self-pleasure, Ruth chimed in again.

“They’re on w**k watch,” Ruth joked, prompting an appalled reaction from her spouse.

Martin Kemp was similarly taken aback by the scenes he was watching unfold, as son Roman shouted: “They’re guarding the door! That’s a good friend though.”

But while Eamonn may have been taken aback by his wife’s verdict, a number of Channel 4 viewers were left in stitches by the feedback.

“@RuthieeL w**k watch. Oh Ruth I’ve just nearly spat my gin out. Your hysterical #CelebrityGogglebox,” one fan commented on Twitter.

A second added: “Eamonn’s face when Ruth said ‘w**k watch’ [laugh emoji] #CelebrityGogglebox.”

Another tweeted: “’Theyre on w**k watch’ – things you never thought you’d hear Ruth Langsford say #CelebrityGogglebox.”

“‘They don’t think they’ve come for party party sexy sexy time’ I wish we saw more of this side of Ruth #Gogglebox #CelebrityGogglebox,” a fourth added to the discussion.

While a fifth weighed in: “Ok, Ruth saying ‘w**k watch’ just absolutely murdered me! #gogglebox #celebritygogglebox.

And a final added: “Never thought i would hear Ruth saying ‘they are on w**k watch’ hah #toohotothandle  #gogglebox.” (sic)
