Royal Variety Performance viewers were quick to point out a tell-tale sign that Meghan Markle was perhaps a little baffled by proceedings last night.
Viewers watching the annual talent showcase, filmed at the London Palladium, kept a beady eye on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan, who is pregnant with their first child, sat next to husband Harry in a £895 Safiyaa halter neck.
It wasn’t her fancy dress that drew viewers attention though, it was her reaction to comedian and host Greg Davies jokes.
Greg congratulated the pair on their wedding before he sang a song about how both their nans were the same – The Queen, obviously being Harry’s nan.
Viewers noticed Meghan slightly confused expression and ‘fake laugh’ at the jokes at the Royal Variety Performance.
"Meghan is so good at fake laughing, I feel for her," one said on Twitter.
Another added: "I don’t think Meghan got the joke… that fake laugh weren’t kidding me!"
Greg joked about his nan eating a swan and how that would get her in hot water with The Queen, who owns them.
Harry’s reaction was a little different as he chuckled away at the British humour.
The Royal Variety Performance is held every year and filmed at the London Palladium ahead of airing on ITV raising money for the Royal Variety Charity.
