HAYLEY Tamaddon has begged to return to Coronation Street after Emmerdale bosses snubbed her over Lisa Dingle’s dramatic death.
The pregnant 42-year-old, who played scheming seamstress Del Dingle in the soap until 2007, asked: "Why am I not there? I should be there causing chaos."
However the star, who is five months pregnant, revealed she has her sights set on a big return to Corrie.
Hayley bowed out of the soap, where she was Andrea Beckett, during the live special in 2015.
She told Lorraine Kelly: "It would be a dream to go back to Corrie, it really would.
"I see all my friends from Corrie all the time. I’m so close to them. Sort that out Lorraine."
Andrea was last seen disappearing in an enormous red car with Lloyd Mullaney during the special episode to celebrate the soap's 60th birthday.
She said: "It was lovely to go in the live episode. It was such a celebration. but there's always a chance you can come back.
"I'd cause a bit of chaos for Steve. Maybe she could run the cab company for a while?”
Yesterday, Hayley revealed she was having a boy with partner Adrian, saying: "I think the mummy first and then the bride can wait just a little bit.
"I will bring him – or her, eek – to meet you, I think I might have just told you what it is."
She added that discovering she was pregnant at the age of 42 was the "most unexpected news" and said her devastating previous miscarriage had "taught" her she could become pregnant.
