PIERS Morgan has taken a dig at Killing Eve's Jodie Comer after she scooped the Leading Actress award during yesterday's Bafta Awards.
The TV breakfast host declared Keeley Hawes should have won the prestigious award in a cheeky Instagram post.
Piers shared a selfie with actress Keeley and football pundit, Jamie Redknapp, alongside the caption: "One of these three people won a BAFTA last night.
Clue: it’s not the one holding it, who should have won one, nor the best actress in Britain. @[email protected] #baftas".
Jodie, who played femme fatale Villanelle in Killing Eve, shot down any other competition during last night's ceremony, including Keeley's leading role in the Bodyguard.
Accepting the award, a tearful Comer dedicated it to her grandmother, who died during the first week of filming.
However, it's not the first dig Piers has made about the TV awards.
Talking on Good Morning Britain, he called BBC bosses "pathetic and spineless" BBC bosses after the ITV breakfast show lost out at any awards.
The 54-year-old, was left outraged that the breakfast show's News Coverage nomination wasn't shown on the main programme, blasting: "Shame on the BBC".
He said it was a "travesty" that GMB didn't win an award last night, as he slammed the Baftas as "boring".
Piers ranted: "You wouldn't have known GMB got nominated. We never got mentioned during the two-hour, incredibly boring, show.
"If you sat through that and are still alive good luck to you. How they get through it, those luvvies, I have no idea."
Piers also kicked off on Twitter last week when he saw the Bafta seating plan.
He was furious at being deemed less famous than Billie Piper, Bobby Berk and Bros has-beens Luke and Matt Goss who all had better seats.
