Former One Direction star Liam told Piers he was "talking s***" for insisting she got rich because of her sister Kim Kardashian's sex tape.
It's after business magazine Forbes revealed Kylie has replaced Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg as the youngest $1billion tycoon at 21 years old.
But instead of applauding the reality TV star, Piers said it was a "tragic reflection of our shallow social media society".
Singer Liam disagreed and ranted: "I’m sorry but piers are you crazy your only here cuz you talk s*** about everyone and make controversial outbursts about people to get attention.
"At least @KylieJenner has her own business she built herself why not congratulate someone for once instead of knocking people."
Within two minutes Piers had replied telling the 25-year-old star: "Hi Liam, a) She didn't 'build herself', she became rich & famous from her sister's sex tape. b) It's 'you're'."
Liam hit back, telling the 53-year-old: "Sorry could you say it louder from the back of the line of irrelevant people please."
It didn't stop Piers from going back at Cheryl's ex, adding: "Mate, no offence but I really wouldn't play the relevancy card right now."
Kylie claims that when she was 15 she was cut off from her parents and worked to make her own money.
Six years later she is now ranked as the world’s 2,057th richest person thanks to her beauty empire Kylie Cosmetics.
She largely runs it from her iPhone, with the help of her “momager” mother, Kardashian matriarch Kris after spotting a gap in the market.
But Piers claims Kylie's success is down to her sister Kim and ex-boyfriend Ray J's sex tape which leaked in February 2007.
The explicit video led Kim to launch Keeping Up With The Kardashians, making her whole family famous.
Piers has a long-running feud with Kim, who even named him on a hit list of 12 enemies.
Not one to hold back, the presenter branded the Kardashian clan "useless, vacuous wastrels" and often criticises Kim for stripping off to promote feminism.
