Paul Hollywood’s ex Summer Monteys-Fullam denies signing up for Love Island – and insists she is enjoying being single – The Sun

PAUL Hollywood's ex Summer Monteys-Fullam has denied signing up for Love Island – and insisted she is enjoying being single.

The 24-year-old made her first appearance on live radio today as she was quizzed over her reality TV plans and her relationship status.

Summer says she's been inundated with offers since dumping Paul after he begged her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

She told Fubar Radio: "I didn't ask for this. Doors just keep opening."

She added: "I'm just going to enjoy being single. This is the time for me.

"If the right guy came along, then maybe, but it's not on my radar. I'm just not interested."

Despite offers to go on I'm A Celebrity and even Love Island, Summer says she's not interested in doing reality TV.

She said: "I want to focus on my options that I've got in front of me, instead of reality.

"Love Island? No… I wouldn't be able to live with all these people.
"I would miss my dog and all my horses and my family too much.

"It's just not me. It's good for some people., but I'd rather have not done anything. You can always be portrayed as someone you're not and I don't want that."

Summer added: "I can't talk about anything in full detail, but I've got some TV presenting coming up.

"I've been reading a few scripts too. I would love to get into acting.

"I haven't acted before, unless it's in front a mirror…

"I'm just keeping my options open and getting my ducks in a row, as my mum would say."

Today Summer hit the headlines again as she was accused of of "gatecrashing" a celebrity wedding by one of the furious grooms.

Paul Hollywood's ex attended the wedding reception of make-up artist to the stars Gary Cockerill and telly DIY expert Phil Turner at London's Cafe De Paris last night – but Phil has claimed she was never invited and they've never even met before.

Taking to Facebook following the showbiz shindig, which also doubled as a celebration for Gary's 50th birthday, Phil said: "This girl was not invited to our wedding/Gary birthday!!

"I’m disgusted someone who I’ve never met gatecrash our very special night!!"

The move forced Summer, 34, to come out and deny gatecrashing the event, claiming she was her manager's plus one.

Posting a picture this morning of herself in a group alongside Phil, she wrote:"I was a plus one ** and a confirmed plus one ** I would never have gate crashed."

Today Joanna insisted she is keen to use Instagram to clear up untruths in a frank chat with Fubar's Stephen Leng and Love Island's Joanna Chimonides.

She said: "I have such an amazing following. Shout out to my amazing followers.

"I have so many messages of support and love.

"I do answer my DMs. not the sleazy ones. I don't get many…I don't get trolling either. Everyone is so nice. I love that.

"Instagram is such an amazing place to defend yourself if you see something isn't true you can shut it down."

On Fubar Radio she said: “I was a plus one. It was a silly miscommunication. It was an amazing night, congrats to them. I had a bloody blast.”
