Paddy and Christine McGuinness look loved up at The TV Choice Awards as the couple enjoy first red carpet event together in almost a year

It was the first time the couple had attended a first red carpet event together in almost a year.

Christine looked incredible and wore a tight white dress that revealed a glimpse of her cleavage.

The blonde bombshell paired the look with gold heels and glitzy clutch bag.

Her handsome beau also cut a sophisticated figure in a smart suit and skinny tie.

The stars held hands and kept close, on what was their first red carpet event since the Pride of Britain Awards in October 2017.

Back in July, TV presenter Paddy, 44, opened up about raising Penelope and Leo, four, who suffer from autism –  as well as two-year-old Felicity who is already showing symptoms.

The presenter told the comedian: "It’s very, very, very, very difficult, you know any parent with children with any kind of special needs is very difficult.
“Some days it’s a wonder how we’re still together, me and Christine, because you can’t sort of do the normal things that you would as a couple.

"I can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve been on a night out together, because you can’t just have a babysitter. You can’t just say ‘I’ll drop ’em off at me relatives to look after’ ’cos it’s not like that.”

Paddy praised his wife for bearing the brunt of the parenting as he became depressed by the situation and threw himself into work.

He said: "I think women with children are better than men. This is only my opinion.

"Might be ’cos me Mum brought me up. I think maternally, they just take to being a parent quicker than men.

“And when the kids were born, I had that strange working-class mentality of these kids are here now, I’ve gotta provide for ’em."

The TV star revealed that he and Christine can't do 'normal couple things'
In February of this year their marriage came under strain after the TV favourite was pictured out drinking with All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, 43.
