My 600-lb Life star Lisa Fleming has died aged 50

A woman who starred in My 600-lb Life has died aged 50.

Lisa Fleming’s daughter Danielle confirmed she died on Thursday – she is the second person from the show who has died this month.

Danielle said her mother’s death had nothing to do with her weight as she lost 200 pounds after she appeared on the show and was able to stand on her own.

She maintained she was sick before she came on the show and the various illnesses took their toll over time. She said: "At the end she was sick and her body was tired and her body just gave out."

Lisa was on Season 6 of the hit show and said her struggle with weight began as a child and it got significantly worse after she witnessed her brother’s murder. She was so large she confessed she often found maggots in the folds of her skin.

L.B. Bonner, who once weighed over 600 pounds, committed suicide earlier this month after shooting himself in the head.

Also, Robert Buchel died in March after suffering heart attack at age 41 in November.

His death was revealed during his episode on the show, on which he dropped to 502 pounds with diet and weight loss surgery. But he admitted to having a pain killer addiction after the surgery and refused to walk or exercise. He soon died after suffering a heart attack.
