The Greatest Dancer had a brutal double elimination tonight which upset Matthew Morrsion.
The Glee star was rocked by a double blow as two of his remaining acts departed the competition during the second live show of the series.
Company Jinks and Prospects Fraternity received the fewest votes from the public and were sent packing.
Matthew pulled a face before turning round to say goodbye to his two dance troupes.
Presenter Alesha Dixon said: "I can’t believe we’re saying it. You’ve both been absolutely brilliant."
While Cheryl looked very relieved that her boys Frobacks made it through to the next round.
Alice from Company Jinks said: "We’re just really happy that we got to share what we do on this platform. We’re so excited we got to do it."
Dance captain Matthew revealed his disappointment to presenter Jordan Banjo.
He said: "Having two go home tonight is not fun but they should be proud.
"This is a beautiful moment to showcase what they do and it was just a great experience."
The Glee actor went to speak again but after a pause let out a loud groan.
A member of Prospects Fraternity said: "We’re so thankful to have made it this far. We pushed ourselves to our limits. We had a lot more to give. We’re just so grateful – thank you."
The departing acts will miss out on next week’s exclusive performance from the Strictly Come Dancing professionals.
And two more acts will be sent home again next week.
*The Greatest Dancer airs Saturdays on BBC One at 7.35pm
