Rapper Meek Mill is headed to the big screen for the adaptation of Lotfy Nathan’s 2013 documentary “12 O’Clock Boys”.
The “All Eyes on You” hitmaker is joining Teyonah Parris, Jahi Winston, and Will Catlett in the film, which will be directed by Angel Manuel Soto. Filmmaker Barry Jenkins wrote the first draft for the script, according to Deadline.
The film centres on Winston’s character, Mouse, and his dreams of joining the Midnight Clique, a tough group of bikers in Baltimore, Maryland.
Meek will play the leader of the group in his feature film debut.
“12 O’Clock Boys” will be produced by Baltimore native Jada Pinkett Smith, Caleeb Pinkett, Marc Bienstock, and Clarence Hammond. The movie is currently filming.
