Love Island 2019 took another twist on Tuesday night (June 18) when two islanders were dumped from the villa. The Islanders voted for the two least compatible couples, leaving four contestants at risk of being dumped, via a public vote, from Love Island. The two couples were Anton Danyluk and Elma Pazar along with Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan, but which two left Love Island?
Who was dumped in Love Island compatible couples twist?
Love Island said goodbye to Elma Pazar and Joe Garratt following the public vote on Tuesday.
ITV2 viewers voted in their droves at the end of Monday night’s episode to pick which two Islanders they wanted to save.
Joe lost out to his partner Lucie, while Elma hadn’t done enough to win over the public like Anton.
The twist was an unexpected one for the current contestants, with some left in tears at the dumping.
HOW MANY WEEKS IS LOVE ISLAND 2019 ON FOR?
Love Island presenter Caroline Flack made her entrance into the villa towards the end of the episode.
The likes of Curtis Pritchard and Molly-Mae Hague were taken aback by her return to the island.
Caroline quickly gathered all the islanders around the fire pit to announce the results of the public vote.
Each of the more ‘compatible’ couples, as voted for by their fellow contestants, sat down as it was revealed Anton and Elma, and Lucie and Joe were deemed the least compatible.
HOW ARE LOVE ISLAND’S TOMMY AND TYSON FURY RELATED?
Joe was visibly gutted by the news as was Anton and Elma.
Elma had only been in the vila for a matter of days before finding herself at risk of being dumped.
Caroline wasted no time and told the Love Island cast: “Two Islanders will leave the villa tonight.
“But the public have been voting to save one Islander from each couple.”
HOW TO STILL APPLY FOR LOVE ISLAND 2019?
It was shortly after this point that the presenter said the unlucky two names.
The pair were embraced by their fellow islanders before packing their bags.
Both Anton and Joe will return to the UK in the next few days.
Caroline will likely reunite with the duo on Love Island: Aftersun to discuss their time in the villa.
Love Island continues on weeknights and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.
