Lucie Donlan had been coupled up with Joe Garratt on Love Island, with the pair getting on well and even sharing a kiss – so the catering company owner was left devastated when Tommy Fury picked Lucie in the recoupling.
The next day, Lucie realises she is keen to develop her relationship with Joe further, but also feels she should give Tommy a chance.
On the terrace, Amy Hart offers Lucie some advice on her dilemma.
She says: “I think you’re shutting yourself off too early. It’s day three.”
Tommy continues making a play for Lucie, but understands her predicament.
He tells the stunning surfer: “I think you’re too nice of a person to upset anybody. You don’t want to upset me and don’t want to upset Joe.”

It comes after Love Island viewers were left shocked when Tommy picked Lucie in the recoupling, after setting his sights on her as soon as he entered the villa.
Angry viewers in their masses commented on the shock decision, with one writing: “That did not just happen. TOMMY WHAT THE F**K!!! He could have chosen Amber yet he chose Lucie WHO WAS HAPPY IN HER COUPLE!!!!”

“Actually can’t stand tommy, why would he even do that he clearly knew lucie and joe liked each other,” a second wrote, while a third added: “Genuinely feel stressed that tommy picked lucie wtf ?!?!?!?!? #loveisland #Loveisland2019.”
While Lucie had revealed she was very happy with Joe, she had said to Tommy that she would go for the boxer if Joe wasn’t in the villa.
“If you wasn’t here, I’d probably be like. Yeah. For him,” she confessed. “Because he’s a boxer and he’s quite nice… but I’ve met you.”
