The singer showed off a superhero card from his parents and thanked fans for their well wishes as he lounged by a pool at a luxury villa.
He blew his fans a kiss and his six-pack was on show as he made the most of a relaxing couple of days before his big performance on Saturday.
It comes after he spent the weekend with new girlfriend Cairo Dwek, and her mum, in London.
They hung out in a swanky five-star hotel with the 20-year-old model after they both checked in on Saturday.
Both tried to keep a low profile, with Liam wearing a grey tracksuit and white trainers to try and blend in.
Cairo was said to have stayed in a different hotel with her mum, but made time for a catch-up with Liam.
He had earlier opened up about feeling "fragile" following his split from ex-girlfriend Cheryl.
It's the first time the singer had spoken about his relationship, which ended in June.
He admitted it was tough to announce their split because he had to relive the pain of the break-up in public.
When quizzed about how he was really feeling on the Official Vodafone Big Top 40, he said: “Yeah, no I’m feeling OK, I’m a bit fragile at times.
"No I’m alright you know, it’s been OK. Obviously there’s a lot of stuff I’ve still got to sort out with my life but…”
He added: “Erm, I mean that bit of it is difficult and you’re tryna like, you break up and like obviously we’ve broken up and then it was like a couple of days or a couple of weeks before we actually like put the announcement out.
“And that’s the bit when it really hits home I guess but at the same point it’s like breaking up twice like, we already did this once and now I’m having to go through all of that again just because…”
Six weeks after his split from Cheryl, Liam was seen kissing and cuddling model Cairo on a romantic Italian holiday.
He has since been linked to singer Rita Ora, 27, after grinding on her while watching pop star Bebe Rexha perform in New York.
