Katie Price spent 13 hours in police custody and was arrested for 'drink driving' after 'crashing her pink Range Rover into a VW Golf and a HEDGE at 2am'

The former model, 40, was breath-tested after her pink Range Rover crashed into a VW Golf and a hedge on a gated estate at 2am.

Concierge Patrick Sewell said: “The owner of the VW was woken by a loud bang. He said he saw a big car that looked bright pink — and wondered if he was still dreaming.”

Price spent the night in a cell at Plumstead police station, South East London, before she was released via a rear exit around 3.30pm. A source said the mum of five allegedly denied being behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

Price had earlier attended a boozy 30th birthday bash for her ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson at a Turkish grill in Bexleyheath.

Boyson was seen getting “cosied up” at The Meze with Price, who arrived without current lover Alex Adderson, 25.

Her £75,000 car was parked outside but passing police later spotted it damaged at the swanky Royal Herbert Pavilions estate in Woolwich.

Residents say it hit the front of a parked Golf before veering into a decorative hedge.

The VW had a bent bumper and bonnet — plus bright pink scrapes. Debris was also littered across the road.

Resident Alena Traczyk, 39, said she was woken by a loud crash, adding: “I saw a pink Range Rover swerving into the car park.

“It paused for a minute, the light came on inside the car and I saw a woman gesticulating wildly. Then the car sped away, straight into a bush.”

Boyson turned up at the police station an hour after Price’s arrest. He was overheard saying he was the only person who wanted her at the party and referred to “an argument” inside.

It comes days after Price took a break from a 28-day rehab stint for PTSD and cocaine abuse.

She was banned from driving for six months in February for speeding.

In September she was filmed slumping to the floor after rapping the words “I love coke” during a wild party with two men she met in a bar in Majorca.

Katie has endured a traumatic year, including her split from husband Kieran Hayler.

She is reportedly putting her £2million home on the market and is flogging belongings due to money woes.

Earlier this year, she found out her mum Amy, 64, was terminally ill with lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

The Met said a woman was released under police investigation, adding: “Enquiries continue.”
