… which means guests will surely be able to bring along their angry families, cuckolded husbands, scorned wives and addled relatives.

No? OK fine, Good Morning Britain is not turning into The Jeremy Kyle Show while Piers is on his summer break.

A GMB spokesperson told Digital Spy that Jeremy will take Piers’ place – and not for the first time – on Monday, August 20, Tuesday, August 21 and Wednesday, August 22.

In more GMB news, presenter Charlotte Hawkins has opened up about one moment in particular that caused her to “lose it” with co-star Piers.

“Just recently he was having a cup of tea and he kept putting it in front of my shot and blocking me out,” she explained.

“It was driving me nuts, and it was driving the director nuts who told Piers to stop doing it. Then he did it one more time and I lost it. He’s like a child.”

Susanna Reid, on the other hand, has claimed that she has simply “developed an epic level of zen” to handle her daily dose of Piers.

“I see Charlotte about to do her thunder look and just think, ‘Just develop the epic level of zen!'” she said.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain is heading to American screens as part of the US-based subscription service BritBox, which will begin airing daily highlights of the UK transmission.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
