The 40-year-old pulled off her best performance to date as hubby Robert Beck watched her from the audience.
Speaking after her very impressive routine with skating partner Sylvain Longchambon, Jane said she was "absolutely fine" after the incident.
"I didn't see it coming," she said, adding that she had been feeling a bit tired.
"I pushed myself a bit too far and it just caught up with me," she added.
She admitted she was "so embarrassed" but thanked her skating partner and the team for looking after her.
Jane received 23.5 out of 40 for her efforts, as judge Ashley Banjo said he had "so much respect" for her for returning to the rink so soon, telling her it took "so much guts".
Earlier today it was revealed that the Coronation Street star had fainted and collapsed on the ice rink.
The actress had to be stretchered off the ice just hours before she was due on for the live show.
An ITV spokesman explained: "Jane fainted earlier today on the ice during a rehearsal for this evening's live show.
"She has been assessed by show medics and is now resting ahead of the performance."
These shocking pictures show how the star, seemingly unconscious, was strapped into an orange spine-protecting stretcher.
She was then lifted off the rink by the show's team of medical experts.
Jane began dating former Brookside actor Robert Beck in 1999 and the pair tied the knot in December 2005.
The couple welcomed their first child, Harry Alexander Jack, in July 2006. They then had a second son, Sam Alfie Robert, in February 2009.
