Inside the boozy Brits afterparties as Laura Whitmore dances with Emily Atack and Lewis Capaldi gets ‘really p***ed’ – The Sun

LAST night saw some of the biggest names of pop let their hair down as they partied the night away following the Brit Awards.

Stars of the TV, music and movies headed to various afterparties hosted by Sony, Warner and Universal and shared glimpses of what really went down on their social media accounts.

Big winner of the night Lewis Capaldi really made sure he celebrated his success – by enjoying a few drinks.

He told The Sun before the ceremony: “I’ll go, ‘Yippee.’ I’m going to get p****d regardless, it doesn’t really matter.”

The singer  was seen cuddling up to Emily Atack at a bash and she posted a picture of them, writing: "My chin is better. Love ya."

Emily was also seen partying alongside Laura Whitmore as they danced the night away.

Amber Davies seemed to be having fun as well and joined Michelle Keegan at one of the bashes.

Meanwhile Harry Styles was the man of the moment at one of the parties as he caught up with ex Kendall Jenner and chatted away to Ella Eyre.

Lewis Capaldi and Dave were among the big winners at the awards last night/

Lewis took home the song of the year and best new artist awards, while Dave won the coveted album of the year gong for Psychodrama.

The show featured performances from artists including Billie Eilish, Capaldi, Dave, Stormzy and Sir Rod Stewart.

Mabel, who won the best female artist gong, opened the show at the O2 Arena with her song Don't Call Me Up.

She said that it felt like a "full-circle" moment after her mother, musician Neneh Cherry, performed at the ceremony decades earlier.

Prior to her performance, she said on the red carpet: "It's actually 30 years since my mum performed at the Brits and it's just so amazing and such a lovely, sort of full-circle moment.

"Mainly I just feel so honoured to be here tonight, it's been such a journey".

Other winners included Billie Eilish, who won best international female solo artist, and Tyler, The Creator, who scooped the equivalent male award.

Billie, who performed her new James Bond song during the ceremony, said London felt "like a second home" to her and that seeing the crowds made her emotional.

"I have felt very hated recently," she said.

"When I was on stage and I saw you guys all smiling at me it genuinely made me want to cry and I want to cry now."
