I'm A Celebrity's Emily Atack shouts 'bus w***ers' at van in hilarious Inbetweeners tribute

Viewers of the Coming Out Show saw the actress yell the iconic line, made famous on her hit sitcom The Inbetweeners, as she left the show's compound after being voted off.

The star, who played Charlotte Big Jugs Hinchcliffe in the comedy, had been sobbing moments earlier after being reunited with sister Martha and dad Keith in a car park outside the jungle seconds earlier.

The charming phrase comes from the moment in the E4 comedy where cocky Jay mocks people queuing waiting for a bus – only to wind up having to stop in traffic seconds later.

And fans at home found 28-year-old Emily's use of the phrase endlessly entertaining.

One tweeted: "@EmAtack shouting bus w***rs as she left #imaceleb is the highlight of the last 3 weeks."

Another said: "Bus W***ers! I think I love you even more now. You've been absolutely brilliant Emily."

Others wrote: "Emily shouting Bus W***ers is the best thing I've ever seen ."

A fourth declared: "Emily atack shouting "Bus W***ers!!" Out of the top of that van has made my night, week, month and year ."

One other fan demanded king of the jungle Harry Redknapp hand over his crown in light of the outburst.

They tweeted: "We also need a recount on #ImACeleb.

"Harry was a worthy winner, but @EmilyAtack shouting Bus W***ers at the minibus in the coming out show was absolutely the moment of the series for me."

But there's one group of people who might not be so pleased to see "bus w***ers" revived by Emily.

After a full decade since the catchphrase first appeared on The Inbetweeners, it seems folks patiently waiting for buses might be about to hear it all over again – this time from the nation's sunroofs.
