I’m A Celeb fans reckon Nick Knowles will give the dunny a makeover DIY SOS-style

The DIY SOS host has gone viral after making his jungle debut last night, with fans joking that he will be giving the basic campsite a luxurious makeover.

The fact that it isn't actually Nick who does the renovating in the BBC home improvement programme didn't seem to deter fans – who took to social media to laugh about the dunny's potential.

Sharing a selection of photos of swanky tree houses and fancy outdoor homes, many viewers made the exact same joke.

One wrote: "What the dunny will look like after Nick Knowles spends half hour in there" – triggering a selection of similar responses.

Nick is said to have bagged a staggering £200,000 to take part in this year's series of the ITV reality show.

Speaking to The Sun Online, an insider explained: "Nick is a huge signing and will be worth every penny.

"He'll have likely been offered around £200,000 to take part on this year's series."

The TV favourite is currently residing in Croc Creek alongside his team mates, Harry Redknapp, Sair Khan, John Barrowman, and Malique Thompson-Dwyer after the group won yesterday's boat race challenge.

The opposing team is made up of Emily Atack, James McVey, Rita Simons, Anne Hegerty, and Fleur East – who are in the even more basic camp, Snake Rock.

Tonight viewers will see Inbetweeners' actress Emily take on this year's first ever Bushtucker Trial following last night's public vote.

It has been revealed that the star was bitten by a snake in the terrifying trial, as host Holly Willoughby screamed in terror and ran away.

The Bushtucker Trial was called Viper Pit and it lived up to its name, with Emily being forced to stick her hand into a chamber containing a not-so-friendly serpent.

She had to pick up a food star that the snake was sitting on as hosts Holly, 37, and co-host Declan Donnelly, 43, watched from the sidelines.

Emily won over fans during last night's launch episode, becoming the 3-1 favourite with bookmaker Coral to win the series.

A spokesperson for Coral said last night: "It's early days but punters are already rushing to back Inbetweeners star Emily as quickly as she dived out of that helicopter on tonight's show.

"She's now our favourite to go all the way and be crowned Queen of the Jungle."
