It’s been the year of Prince Harry and Meghan from their stunning Windsor wedding to their triumphant Australia tour and pregnancy announcment.
But royal expert Penny Juror – who penned 2014 biography Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son – said she ‘hopes’ it’s the real deal.
"I hope and pray it’s as good as it looks and that it does make him happy," she said on Loose Women.
"He is the most lovely man, he’s kind he’s generous he’s funny no airs and graces, he wants to be a normal boy," she continued.
"He’s had such tragedy in his life and been so brave about it."
She also revealed the secret reason the Queen loves her corgies so much, explaining it’s because they’re the, "only creatures in the world that don’t know she’s Queen."
"They love her just because of who she is. They protect her, they love her and look after her," she continued.
The Queen’s late dad King George V bought her her first corgie when she was just 18, although her husband Prince Philip has never been a fan.
"He tolerates them," Penny said, speculating that he might ‘possibly’ be jealous of his wife’s bond with her pooches.
And the royal watcher also revealed how the monarch uses the dogs to defuse difficult or uncomfortable situations.
"She uses the dogs if she herself is in an awkward situation," Penny continued.
"She bends down and touches the dogs, or takes them out of the room for a walk. Sometimes she uses them to put others at ease."
