Faux Finnish YouTuber OMGWhizzBoyOMG talks to the pardoned former sheriff about communism, guns, golden showers, hand jobs and blow jobs.
Joe Arpaio would "say yes" to a blow job from President Donald Trump — at least that’s what he told an undercover Sacha Baron Cohen on Sunday’s "Who Is America?"
Arizona’s former Maricopa County Sheriff, who was pardoned by Trump last year after being found guilty for criminal contempt after illegally profiling latinos for traffic stops, was interviewed on the Showtime series by Cohen’s newest character, a faux Finnish internet celebrity OMGWhizzBoyOMG.
"So if Donald Trump calls you up after this and says, ‘Sheriff Joe, I want to offer you an amazing blow job,’ would you say yes?"
"I may have to say yes," Arpaio responded, but it’s pretty clear he thinks he’s under the impression Cohen’s character was referencing an actual job of some kind. Cohen set up the question by first referencing his first job.
"My first job was a hand job from my mother. It was delivering newspapers. What was your first hand job?" Cohen asked.
Arpaio answered by emphasizing he’s been working "extra" hard his whole life. "Whatever I did in my life, I always did that extra. It gets me in trouble sometimes," he explained before Cohen dropped the BJ question.
The colorful segment started out with Cohen opening boxes of Shopkins toys while asking his conservative guest questions about communism, leading to Arpaio happily playing along by lecturing a miniature donut figurine about Americans’ constitutional right to have guns.
"I have 43 guns," Cohen told Arpaio. "I’ve been collecting them for the upcoming race war."
In another standout moment, Cohen brought up the golden shower allegations against Trump. "Do you think he might have had a golden shower?"
"Wouldn’t surprise me," Arpaio answered.
When Cohen asked if Trump would give him a golden shower, he didn’t answer directly but did seem to think Trump would like the fake Finnish YouTuber.
The former Arizona sheriff realized he’d been victimized by Cohen only after Sarah Palin initially lashed out for her experience, which has yet to air. Now running for the Republican nomination for Senate in Arizona, the candidate told The Arizona Republic, "I’m kind of disappointed I fell for their trap."
He said he should have better vetted the media request, recalling the encounter as "rather bizarre."
After reading about Palin’s experience, and then seeing reports that Baron Cohen had duped other notable political figures, Arpaio said he started thinking, "Wait a minute, this could be the interview I had, too. I was kind of mad at myself."
Told it was an interview for an audience in Finland, Arpaio said he toughed it out, even when the questions started to "zero in on sex."
"I’m thinking, ‘Wait a minute. What the hell does this got to do with the interview?,’" he said.
"Who Is America?" airs Sunday nights at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
