Here's Caroline's story and how the Love Island host was ready to tie the knot with ex-Apprentice star Andrew Brady – before their shock split announcement and subsequent recoupling…
What is Caroline Flack's background and is she really a twin?
Caroline is a TV presenter who's best known for hosting a string of prime-time shows including Love Island and The X Factor.
Born in Thetford, Norfolk, the 39-year-old was raised with her twin sister, Jody, as well as a brother Paul and second sister Elizabeth.
As a teenager, she worked in a pork-processing factory and as a magician's assistant before finding her feet as a presenter on CBBC show, TMi.
In addition to telly presenting Caroline has modelled for various lad's mags – in 2015 FHM magazine named her fifth sexiest woman in the world, ahead of Margot Robbie, Kim Kardashian and Emilia Clarke.
What other TV shows has Caroline appeared on?
Caroline has become a well-known face for fronting spin-off shows including I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here Now and The Xtra Factor.
In 2011 she began hosting The Xtra Factor alongside Olly Murs, and in 2015 the pair hosted the main series together.
They were dropped however, after only one series.
She is currently the leading lady of Love Island, and has been hosting proceedings for the show for the last three series.
Despite outrage from viewers over the on-screen bedroom antics, Caroline has said there's nothing wrong with having sex on TV – although she wouldn't go there herself.
The star has clearly been bitten by the reality show bug, as she was previously crowned the winner of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
Alongside professional Pasha Kovalev, the duo made Strictly history by earning perfect scores for every performance in the final.
When did Caroline Flack get engaged to Andrew Brady from The Apprentice?
In February 2018 it was revealed that Caroline was dating Celebrity Big Brother and Apprentice contestant Andrew Brady.
The pair first got together after Andrew left the CBB house earlier in 2018.
They met during a night out in east London and became inseparable.
In March, Andrew denied spending the night with another woman after a dance teacher claimed she had kissed the reality star in a Chester nightclub.
But by March 27, The Sun exclusively revealed they had split following cheating allegations.
And then just days later The Sun again broke the news the pair had reunited and were determined to give their relationship another chance.
Andrew then popped the question to Caroline in April, with Caroline saying yes and the pair jetting off on a two-week holiday to celebrate.
A source close to the couple revealed: “Caroline is totally in love. Andrew treats her like a princess.
However, just months later Caroline announced they had split again, saying "it wasn't meant to be".
She said in a statement: "I’m sad to announce that Andrew and I have decided to part ways. Unfortunately, it was not to be."
Andrew echoed the sentiment on his Instagram page.
Sources have said that Caroline got fed up of his "lies" and that she felt used because he's so "fame-hungry".
The 38-year-old was forced to deny rumours she had begun dating a Love Island crew member shortly after the split.
However, she was then pictured wearing her engagement ring again after letting her dumped fiancé back into her home with friends fearing she is preparing to give the relationship another go.
It was then revealed that Brady asked Flack to return the ring after she kicked him out of their London home.
True to the on again/off again nature of their relationship, pictures from August 4, revealed Caroline and Andrew rekindling their relationship on a secret break to Ibiza.
On August 12, The Sun exclusively revealed that Flack is giving Brady another chance, after they were spotted in London on a romantic date.
When did Caroline date Harry Styles and was she in a relationship with Olly Murs?
Caroline is thought to have first met Harry Styles while she was hosting The Xtra Factor in 2011 and he appeared as a musical guest with One Direction.
The pair soon began a whirlwind relationship that saw heavy criticism over their 14-year age gap. Sadly, it wasn't to be and they went their separate ways in January 2012.
Caroline said of her short-lived relationship with Harry Styles: "I'm not going to ever apologise for it because there was nothing at the time that was serious or bad and nobody was getting hurt."
In 2015 Caroline returned to host The X Factor alongside Olly Murs and it didn't take long for rumours of romance to spread.
During an interview on ITV's Lorraine, Caroline denied the romance: "This series we've become so close, we've kind of had to stick by each other and we are just friends, but there's this innate understanding between us which I've never had with anyone."
In 2013 she started dating music manager Jack Street. The couple became engaged but split up in 2014.
